EMMERDALE star Beth Cordingly has revealed a warning her real-life soap partner gave her.
The actress, 47, is currently playing the role of Ruby Fox-Miligan in the ITV show.

And now Beth has revealed her real-life soap actor boyfriend Ian Kelsey gave her a stern warning before making her debut.
Speaking to The Mirror, Beth said: “He told me not to bump into the furniture, which I do regularly.”
Ian Kelsey played the iconic character Dave Glover in the Emmerdale.
Dave famously had an ill-fated romance with Kim Tate and died saving her son Jamie from a fire.
The couple have been together for three years – and the actress has now revealed how he encouraged her to take the role.
They first met 20 years ago but went on to marry other people and then bumped into each other again in 2021 when they quickly got together.
Beth added: “Ian was really supportive and wanted me to do it, which is lovely. There is that thing as an actor where you are always taken away from home. But he totally gets it.
“He knows a lot of the crew and cast and so it’s lovely to be able to share what I’ve been up to, knowing he understands. That’s important when you are away and he is always keen to find out how filming has gone each day.
“We are both very supportive of each other’s careers which is important when it is such a competitive industry.”
Emmerdale airs on ITV1 and ITVX.
